Foxfeather
Foxfeather is a sultry alt-Americana duo founded in Boulder, CO in 2013 by Carly Ricks Smith (lead vocals) and Laura Paige Stratton (acoustic/electric guitars, keys, vocals), often supported by additional instrumentalists for a full band sound. Beginning with a lyrical base and bolstered by strong blues-rock instrumentals, their eclectic sound draws from folk, blues, jazz, and Americana. They are a staple of the Colorado Front Range music scene and tour nationally, with releases including their debut EP 'Foul Moon' (2014) and the album 'The Nature of Things' (2021).
